The purpose of the Cooling Tower is to make use of the cooling water by circulating it. The Tower descends the cooling water which the temperature has gone up in a form of small water droplets from the upper section of the Tower. As these droplets go down, the wind generated by the fan installed in the Tower causes some of the water to evaporate reducing the water temperature as a result. The Cooling Tower is used for cooling the water and its main purpose is to bring down the water temperature to the level of room temperature.
